Davinia Palmer joined QVC in November 2007 as a program host trainee. In this role, she will undergo extensive training through April 2008 to understand the values important to QVC, and how they relate to communicating with the customer. During her six-month training program, Davinia will learn about QVC’s products and the company’s on-air presentation style.
A native of South Wales, UK, Davinia began her career in radio at the age of 17. Her distinguished “hip and cool” voice has been heard over the airwaves of several regional stations in Wales and the UK, and on shows on FOX FM and Heart FM in the UK. Davinia broke into TV at the age of 21, presenting for the Topshop instore TV network “T:tv” in London. She went on to MC catwalk shows for industry leaders like Vogue, Models One and Elle.
Davinia’s television personality is engaging, especially when paired with her well-trained voice, which has been featured as a voice-over for well-known consumer brands. She has worked closely with Terrence Higgins Trust to raise awareness for AIDS. Davinia has also been involved with The Prince’s Trust, a UK organization that offers mentoring, training and financial assistance.
